Sony Pictures have dropped the latest trailer for the new Marvel film “Morbius”, starring Oscar winner Jared Leto.
Leto will bring the titular character Dr. Michael Morbius to life on the big screen, who is a biochemist suffering from a rare and fatal blood disease.
The trailer, which gives off some serious “Venom” vibes, follows the character’s desperate attempt to help others affected by the same illness but inadvertently transforms himself into a vicious living vampire with incredibly dangerous powers – blurring the lines between hero and villain.
Directed by Daniel Espinosa, the film will also star Michael Keaton, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, Charlie Shotwell, Tyrese Gibson and Adria Arjona.
“Morbius” is set to hit Australian cinemas on January 20, 2022.
