A Bargara man has confessed he hasn’t come down off cloud nine since discovering he’s won a life-changing $520,000 prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The winner takes home $520,000, paid in $1,000 weekly instalments for the next 10 years.
The winning ticket was bought at Fresh Fields Foodworks on Thabeban Street.
“This is the most amazing feeling in the world!” the winner says.
“I don’t play Instant Scratch-Its all that often and thought I’d just grab one as a bit of Friday afternoon fun.
“When I scratched away at it and realised I’d won, I was beyond shocked.
“The celebrations haven’t kicked off just yet, but no doubt I’ll be having a big Christmas holiday and will enjoy every second of it.
“It still hasn’t hit me yet.
“Even talking about it now, I feel like I’m talking about someone else’s life.
“As a young man, I just feel like I can set myself up now for the future.
“Any worries I had are gone.”
The Fresh Fields Foodworks team say they are over the moon to have sold a top prizewinning Instant Scratch-Its ticket and wished their winner all the best for the future.
