The Big Red Bash – A Must-Add to Your Bucket List!
Last weekend, the Simpson Desert near Birdsville came alive with the sounds of the Big Red Bash festival. Imagine thousands singing together, creating an epic finale to an incredible three-day outback adventure. This event has officially made it onto my bucket list for next year!
The Ultimate Finale
Jon Stevens headlined the final night with his Noiseworks and INXS Collection show, delivering powerful hits like “Take Me Back” and “Need You Tonight.” Earlier, Ian Moss wowed with his solo hits and Cold Chisel classics. Vanessa Amorosi, Sarah McLeod, and more graced the stage, making it a musical feast.
Record-Breaking Fun
Festival-goers even set a new world record for the most people doing a Freeze Frame Dance! Although they fell short of breaking the Nutbush City Limits Dance record, they still raised impressive funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Unforgettable Activities
Beyond the music, attendees enjoyed sunrise yoga, sand dune surfing, fun runs, art workshops, and more. Families, adventurers, and music lovers all found something to enjoy.
Mark Your Calendars
The next Big Red Bash is set for July 2-4, 2024. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
