It’s been another terrible day on local roads with the Bundaberg LifeFlight crew responding to two truck rollovers.
Around 7:50 Monday morning a logging truck crashed into a ditch in the Tuan Forest.
A man in his 50s suffered head injuries and was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital.
Three hours later crews were called to the Bruce Highway at Monduran after a car carrier rolled onto its side and crashed into trees.
QFD firefighters worked for two hours to cut away trees and free a man in his 20s from the vehicle.
He was treated on scene by QAS paramedics, the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic for head and facial injuries.
Emergency services say the young man is lucky to be alive.
