You Can Get For-Real-Life Bluey Dollarbucks

Get your coin purses ready, Bluey fans – Australia Post has today released a Bluey Dollarbuck coin collection.

In partnership with the Royal Australian Mint and BBC Studios, Australia Post has released ten $1 collectable Bluey coins featuring bespoke fun and playful illustrations of the show’s characters, designed by the team at Ludo Studio, including everyone’s favourite blue heeler, Bluey, her little sister Bingo, plus their family and friends.

The 2024 Bluey Dollarbuck $1 coins1 can be purchased individually and one in every 10-coin set features a special-coloured coin2. Other coins in the Bluey range are available as part of a 10-coin tube and folder set and Bluey and Bingo will even be popping up in till change when making a cash transaction at participating Australia Post Offices. Bluey till coins will be available until Sunday 29 September 2024, or while stocks last.

Royal Australian Mint CEO Leigh Gordon said the Mint is excited to collaborate with Australia Post and BBC Studios on this latest Bluey release. “We hope that through this new Bluey program we are cultivating the coin collector of tomorrow. What better way to start your child’s or grandchild’s coin collection, than with a Bluey coin?” Bluey fans can head into participating Post Offices or online from today (2 September) to buy individual coins for $10 each and the full coin and folder set for $29. A Bluey Stamp Pack will also be available, containing twelve $1.50 self-adhesive MyStamps and a large look-a-like stamp, with graphics of Bluey and her family.
